CSN Philly's Jim Salisbury said Jayson Nix is "very much" on the Phillies' radar if he doesn't break camp with the Rays. Nix has an out clause if he's not put on the 25-man roster to begin the season, so he'd likely use it if he believes he could get a major league job with the Phillies. Nix batted .236/.308/.311 with the Yankees in 2013 but has been a useful bench player in the past.
