Crisp (neck) has been placed on the 15-day DL by the Athletics. This isn't looking good for Crisp, who is trying to rehab his recurring neck injury and avoid surgery, which could be career-ending, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports. He'll be eligible to return June 7, but given how nagging the issue has been, it could be longer until he comes back.
