Crisp finally recorded his first hit of the year Wednesday, going 1-for-3 with a single and a walk in a loss to the Red Sox. That raises his average to a still-brutal .036, as Crisp is now 1-for-28 since coming back from an elbow injury that kept him out for the season's first month. The veteran outfielder should find his stride in time, but after a poor 2014 season, he'll need to do so quickly if he wants to hold onto a regular spot in Oakland's crowded outfield.
