Crisp (elbow) threw from 60 feet and took swings from both sides of the plate Wednesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Crisp is just starting to get a taste of baseball activities for the first time since elbow surgery this spring, right in line with the timetable established earlier in the week. The outfielder will have to progress to full batting practice and longer throws before beginning a rehab assignment. A return in the early summer months remains realistic.
