Cowgill agreed to a one-year, $995,000 contract with the Angels on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports. Cowgill started 106 games with the Angels last season, finishing the season with a .250/.330/.354 batting line while adding five home runs and 21 RBI. He figures to serve as a reserve outfielder for the Angels in 2015.
