Corbin (4-6) allowed two runs on eight hits and three walks with three strikeouts over 6.1 innings in a win Tuesday over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin was putting baserunners on with regularity but only paid for it once, when Kevin Pillar hit a two-run double in the fourth inning. He used two double plays to escape jams and induced 13 overall groundouts. That should help him avoid the home runs that have been his Achilles heel -- he has given up 13 in 15 starts. Corbin has a 52.6 percent ground ball rate on the season and we should expect his 4.63 ERA to keep falling if he can continue to keep the ball in the ballpark like he did Tuesday night.
