Chisenhall is slated to platoon with Brandon Guyer in right field this season, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Surprisingly, the defending AL Champions have one of the most unsettling situations across MLB when it comes to the outfield. The health of Michael Brantley (shoulder) will ultimately decide how the pieces to the puzzle fall. If Brantley isn't ready for Opening Day, Guyer may move to left, leaving Chisenhall alone in right. Chisenhall had a career year last season, but the 27-year-old's poor plate discipline (5.5 percent walk rate) and lack of power (.153 ISO) make him susceptible to losing at-bats in 2017.
