Bundy (7-5) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks in 4.0 innings Saturday against the Yankees. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old has pitched very well in August (3.10 ERA) outside of an understandably tough matchup against Boston and this rough start against the Yankees. Bundy continues to post a solid strikeout rate (8.22 K/9) even after transitioning to the starting rotation, and seems to be generally rounding into the form many considered he had as a starting pitcher phenom. Hopefully the young righty learned from this outing, since he faces the Yankees again in his next scheduled start Friday, this time at home in Baltimore.
