Bruce has been starting regularly against lefties since his arrival from Cincinnati but will ride the pine Saturday against Matt Moore, as Alejandro De Aza takes over in right field. Manager Terry Collins had suggested he would give Bruce a mental day after Friday's 0-for-4 showing, telling the Star-Ledger, "He's really pressing and trying to do some things, which comes with the territory when you're a star and you come to a new team."
