Brantley (back) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Tigers. Brantley left Friday's contest with what was referred to as a "stabbing" back pain, and has now missed back-to-back games a result. Consider the 2014 breakout player day-to-day until further notice, with Mike Aviles standing to gain reps in his stead. With a team off day on the schedule Monday, manager Terry Francona may just be taking a conservative approach.
