Brad Eldred wouldn't confirm whether he'll join the Hiroshima Carp of the Japan's Central League. Eldred was a healthy scratch from Monday's lineup with Triple-A Toledo and he didn't exactly issue a firm denial of the rumors. "What's going on is probably better for me and my family," said Eldred. "That's obviously the way I'm going to go." Nothing is confirmed yet, but Triple-A Toledo Phil Nevin said "I think we'll know something tomorrow."
