Boston Red Sox shortstop Hanley Ramirez will start Tuesday against the New York Yankees after tweaking his knee in Sunday's contest against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to the Boston Globe. Ramirez had to leave the game for a pinch-runner after hitting a single in the eighth inning, but he was never expected to miss a game in the upcoming series in New York, as Red Sox manager John Farrell intimated that his removal was precautionary. "He tweaked his knee on that previous swing to the base hit," Farrell said. "He should be good to go for Tuesday but yeah, it was a little bit of a zinger and just got him off his feet." Ramirez has tallied a .266/.307/.455 batting line with 19 home runs, five stolen bases and 51 RBI in 93 games this season, his first in Boston.
