Boston Red Sox outfielder Hanley Ramirez is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Miami Marlins because of a foot injury, according to the Boston Herald. Ramirez has already missed three games after fouling a ball off his left foot Friday against the Detroit Tigers. Jackie Bradley Jr. will once again replace Ramirez in the lineup, batting eighth and starting in left field. X-rays on Ramirez's foot showed no fractures, but he continues to feel pain, and he will be examined by a doctor again on Thursday before the team decides whether he will undergo any additional testing. Ramirez is batting .262 with 19 home runs and 53 RBI this season, though 10 of his home runs came back in April. He was expected to be a major contributor this season after signing a four-year, $88 million contract in the offseason, but he has done little in the win department, as the Red Sox enter Wednesday's game with the worst record in the American League.
