Blue Jays signed RHP Miguel Batista to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Buffalo. Batista inked a minor league deal with the Rockies in January but failed to crack their 25-man roster this spring. The 42-year-old right-hander will have to first pitch well at Triple-A to get a shot with Toronto.
