Blue Jays sent RHP Joel Carreno outright to Triple-A Buffalo. It's a little surprising Carreno wasn't claimed off waivers given his career 3.48 ERA with 722 strikeouts over 677 innings in the minors. He should get another shot in the big leagues at some point in 2013.
