Belt (groin) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. A groin strain, suffered Tuesday night, has clouded Belt's short-term availability, but he was able to take some swings in the cages Wednesday and the fact that he's listed on the lineup card as a reserve again suggests he is not in immediate danger of landing on the DL. Joaquin Arias will draw the start at first base and bat eighth Thursday while Brandon Crawford moves up to the five-hole.
