Bautista (knee) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday.

It had seemed likely that Bautista would be headed to the DL, and that suspicion was confirmed after he was diagnosed with a knee sprain. The team has yet to indicate the timeframe for Bautista's rehab process, but a return before the beginning of September seems highly unlikely.
