Avila (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Monday at Triple-A Charlotte, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.

Avila is expected to catch two games for Charlotte and presumably rest Wednesday before coming off the disabled list Thursday in advance of the White Sox's series with the Tigers. Once he's back with the White Sox, Avila figures to settle back into a timeshare with Dioner Navarro at catcher.
