Archer has been named the Opening Day starter by manager Kevin Cash. With Alex Cobb (elbow) dealing with an elbow injury, Archer will get the call against the Orioles on April 6. Archer made 32 starts lats season, going 10-9 with a 3.33 ERA across 194.2 total innings.
