Archer (9-8) beat the Yankees on Tuesday, tossing 6.1 innings of three-run, seven-hit ball. He also struck out three and didn't issue a walk. This was a solid road outing for the third-year big leaguer, who showed a lot of resiliency in not issuing any free passes despite getting behind more than half (13-of-25) batters with first-pitch balls. Archer's ERA is now at 3.63 to go with a 63:155 BB:K this season, numbers he'll look to build upon further when he squares off against the Blue Jays in his next start Sunday.
