Archer (8-4) put 10 men on base (eight hits and two walks) and struck out just three in just five innings Thursday against Washington, but limited the damage to three runs and came away with the win. It's nice that Archer can win even when he's not at his best, and he certainly wasn't in this one -- he posted his second-shortest outing and lowest strikeout total of the season. He gets a tough one Tuesday against Toronto, but will have the benefit of being at home.
