Angels sent RHP Elvin Ramirez outright to Triple-A Salt Lake. He's now off the 40-man roster. Ramirez holds an ugly 10.14 ERA and has walked 15 over his first eight innings at Salt Lake this season. He'll obviously need to right the ship before the Angels consider calling him up.
