Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Friday that Sean Burnett (elbow) is getting "progressively better" and nearing a return to the Angels bullpen. Burnett fanned three in a scoreless inning on his minor league rehab assignment on Thursday. If all continues to go well, he'll resume his customary setup role in the Angels bullpen before the end of the month.
