Angels acquired RHP Elvin Ramirez from the Mets for cash considerations. Ramirez, 25, appeared in 20 games for the Mets in 2012, posting a 5.48 ERA and 2.06 WHIP. He had a 2.13 ERA with 57 strikeouts in 55 innings between Double- and Triple-A.
