Amarista is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports. He will sit after starting two straight games and six of nine to begin June, as Clint Barmes steps in at short to face lefty Clayton Kershaw. Amarista appears to still have the leg up at the position despite his dismal .205/.282/.281 batting line this season (164 PA).
