EDGE Analysis
Adams' batting average dropped three points to .261 -- its lowest point since May 3 -- but he made the most of his only hit in seven plate appearances during the marathon. It was the first baseman's 11th homer of the season, and the second career 16th-inning walk-off blast for Adams. The 27-year-old has struggled mightily in July, slashing .159/.213/.386 through 44 at-bats.
