Adams was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Friday. Adams' quadriceps injury was expected to cost him a fair amount of time, so it's not surprising that the club moved him to the 60-day disabled list to open up a 40-man roster spot. His timetable remains unclear at this point, but a late season return seems the best-case scenario.
