Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run, and three RBI in Thursday's 17-4 loss to the Cardinals. The homer was Polanco's second of the season, while the three-hit day brought his average up to .315. The right fielder is starting to heat up and has two home runs and seven RBI in his last three games. The Pirates offense will hinder his counting stats, but Polanco should be valuable as he finally rounds into form.
