Blanco went 2-for-6 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Pirates in 14 innings.
EDGE Analysis
After striking out six times in eight at-bats over his previous two starts, Blanco might have needed a quality showing Wednesday to maintain his standing ahead of Reymond Fuentes on the depth chart, and he was able to deliver just that. Blanco has turned in a respectable .344 on-base percentage this season while often serving as the Diamondbacks' leadoff hitter when he starts in center field, but his run of consistent at-bats could come to an end as soon as next week if A.J. Pollock (groin) is activated from the disabled list.

Blanco is not in the lineup Friday against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
A night after he cracked a home run off of Milwaukee starter Zach Davies, Blanco will retreat to the bench for the second time in four games. Reymond Fuentes will take his place in center field.

Blanco went 3-for-4 with his first home run of the season and two runs scored in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco was making his fourth start in five games Thursday, and after turning in arguably his best outing of the season, it looks like he'll be the primary option in center field over Reymond Fuentes until A.J. Pollock (groin) is able to come off the disabled list. While fantasy owners shouldn't count on Blanco for many more homers, he could be a respectable source of runs and steals while slotting in at the top of the order in a powerful Diamondbacks lineup.

Blanco went 1-for-5 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs in Friday's 10-1 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco has been alternating starts in center field with Reymond Fuentes over the last handful of games since A.J. Pollock (groin) hit the disabled list, making it somewhat difficult to keep Blanco active outside of NL-only or deeper mixed leagues. However, Blanco should make for an appealing low-cost outfield option in DFS contests whenever he enters the lineup. He's occupied the leadoff spot in his last two starts, going 2-for-9 with a walk, two RBI, two stolen bases and three runs.

Blanco went 1-for-4 with a stolen base, a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco and Rey Fuentes have both received starts in center field and as the Diamondbacks' leadoff hitter in the team's two games since A.J. Pollock (groin) landed on the disabled list. With Pollock expected to be sidelined for more than the minimum 10 days, either Blanco and Fuentes figures to emerge as manager Torey Lovullo's preferred option in center field before long, but both players figure to receive chances to prove themselves over the next handful of games. Blanco may make for a decent speculative pickup in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues.

Blanco will share starting opportunities in center field with Reymond Fuentes in the absence of A.J. Pollock (groin), Jack Magruder of FanRag Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco has been largely used as a defensive replacement, as he has made just 16 plate appearances in seven games this season. His defense may be enough to earn him starts, but the better bat belongs to the younger Fuentes, and if the latter gets on a hot streak, Blanco could very well return to his bench role.

Blanco went 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco, whose contract was purchased from Triple-A Reno prior to the weekend, ended up starting in two games during the series, going 1-for-5. So long as Yasmany Tomas, A.J. Pollock and David Peralta all remain healthy, Blanco won't be in line for everyday duties in the outfield, effectively taking him off the radar in just about every format for the time being.

Blanco (oblique) had his contract purchased by the Diamondbacks on Friday, Tommy Stokke of FanRag Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco has been rehabbing in the minor leagues since suffering an oblique strain in spring training, but it appears he's set to join the D-Backs after the difficult offseason. The 33-year-old has spent the last five seasons as a mainstay in the Giants' outfield and has swung a hot bat in rehab starts (9-for-23 with three RBI), so it isn't unrealistic to see him getting solid action as a reserve outfielder behind A.J. Pollock, Yasmany Tomas, and David Peralta.

Blanco (oblique) will move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Reno on Thursday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco, who lost out on a roster spot with the Diamondbacks coming out of spring training after suffering the oblique strain, played well during a five-game stint with High-A Visalia, going 7-for-18 at the dish with two walks and three RBI. It appears all is well on the health front for Blanco, who will presumably play in a handful of games with Reno before the Diamondbacks determine if he's a fit on the major-league roster. If the Diamondbacks do decide to clear room for Blanco, it would likely result in either Jeremy Hazelbaker or Chris Herrmann moving off the active roster.

Blanco (oblique) opened up a rehab assignment with High-A Visalia on Thursday and has gone 6-for-13 with three RBI over three games.
EDGE Analysis
Blanco inked a minor-league deal with the Diamondbacks in January with the expectation that he'd be able to compete for an Opening Day roster spot with the big club, but that opportunity never fully materialized after he sustained an oblique injury late in March. The Diamondbacks later re-signed him to a restructured minor-league deal in order to oversee his recovery from the injury, and it appears the veteran outfielder is finally easing back to full strength. According to Nick Piecoro and Sarah McLellan of The Arizona Republic, manager Torey Lovullo said Blanco would need about 20-to-40 at-bats in the minors before the Diamondbacks would consider purchasing his contract and adding him to the 40-man roster. Reserves Chris Herrmann or Jeremy Hazelbaker would seemingly be most at risk of losing their spots on the active roster if Blanco ends up joining the big club later in May.
