Swarzak and cash were traded from the Mariners to the Braves on Monday in exchange for Jesse Biddle and Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder), Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves' bullpen has been a mess this season, so they'll swap one injured reliever and another DFA'd one in exchange for Swarzak. It's not clear that Swarzak will necessarily fix their problems, however, as he owns a 5.97 ERA in 37.2 innings over the last two seasons, with his decent 26.3 percent strikeout rate failing to overcome a high 12.3 percent walk rate. Saves are very much up for grabs in Atlanta, and Swarzak does have three already this season for the Mariners, but it's unlikely that he'll walk straight into a ninth-inning role given his recent track record.

Swarzak allowed three runs on three hits in 0.1 innings during a blown save against the Yankees on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander induced a flyout to begin the frame, but then allowed a single and homer to let the Yankees tie the game. In a surprising move, Mariners manager Scott Servais elected to stick with Swarzak following the blown save and against the next batter, he allowed another single. Swarzak didn't face another hitter after that, but that run came around to score, so he was still saddled with the loss. Swarzak now has as many blown saves as saves (three) and owns a 6.10 ERA and 1.74 WHIP in 10.1 innings this year.

Swarzak notched his third save in a win over the Angels on Saturday, giving up a solo home run and also recording a strikeout over an inning.
EDGE Analysis
Swarzak saw Albert Pujols take him deep for a 436-foot solo shot to right that made things interesting in the ninth, but he was able to ultimately escape with the save. The veteran reliever has now given up a solo homers in back-to-back appearances after not allowing the ball to leave the yard in his first six trips to the mound this season. However, he seemingly remains manager Scott Servais' top right-handed ninth-inning option during Hunter Strickland's (lat) ongoing absence.

Swarzak (2-0) allowed an earned run on a solo home run and also issued two walks and a wild pitch over an inning in a win over the Angels on Thursday. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
It was an eventful 29-pitch frame for Swarzak to say the least, and after some trouble, he still managed to walk away with an unlikely win courtesy of Jay Bruce's ninth-inning tie-breaking single. Swarzak has been been one of manager Scott Servais' most versatile options out of the bullpen in the wake of Hunter Strickland's placement on the injured list with a lat injury. Swarzak has locked down a pair of saves and now has two victories to go along with them, all while generating an impressive 1.42 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB across 6.1 innings. His considerable strikeout upside -- he's recorded at least one whiff in each of his seven appearances -- and a current role that figures to continue affording him steady save chances has his fantasy stock at solid levels for the time being.

Swarzak is unavailable for Thursday's game against the Royals, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
He has pitched in back-to-back games, picking up a win and a save, and will therefore be unavailable for this day game. Roenis Elias, who would have probably been next in line for saves, is also unavailable, so Corey Gearrin might be called upon if a save situation arises Thursday.

Swarzak (1-0) walked one and struck out two in two-thirds of an inning to record the win in Wednesday's 6-5 victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
After getting the final two outs of the eighth inning in a tie game, the right-hander watched Mitch Haniger swat a solo shot in the top of the ninth before handing things over to Roenis Elias for the save. Swarzak remains the top option in the M's bullpen, but that role won't be exclusively limited to ninth-inning duty.

Swarzak allowed one hit and struck out one batter to record his second save of the season Tuesday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Swarzak was called upon to preserve a three-run lead in the ninth inning. He prevailed, allowing only a two-out single and has now converted each of his two save chances this season. Having earned both of the team's save opportunities since being activated from the IL on April 2, it appears he is the Mariners primary closer for the time being.

Swarzak struck out one in 0.2 innings Tuesday to record his first save of the season in a 2-1 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
It looked like Marco Gonzales might finish this one himself, but after the southpaw faded in the ninth inning and put two runners aboard, Swarzak was brought in and got the job done. The veteran reliever had only six career saves coming into 2019, but with Hunter Strickland (lat) sidelined until at least June, Swarzak may well be the M's top choice as closer.

Swarzak (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day IL prior to Tuesday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
With Hunter Strickland (shoulder) on the 60-day IL, Swarzak could start factoring into the ninth-inning mix immediately. He lacks a high ceiling and his floor isn't all that high either, but it's possible he could save double-digit games while Strickland is sidelined. Cory Gearrin seems like his toughest challenger for saves going forward.

Swarzak (shoulder) threw a successful bullpen session Sunday and is on track to be activated Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The bullpen session was seemingly the last hurdle Swarzak needed to clear before getting a green light for activation. The veteran right-hander logged four outings in minor-league games while the Mariners were in Japan for their season-opening series against the Athletics. He'll look to help provide reinforcement to a relief corps that will be missing closer Hunter Strickland (lat) for an extended period.
