Cubs manager Rick Renteria confirmed that the plan is for Straily to head back to the minors after Saturday's start, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports. The 25-year-old Straily will be up Saturday to oppose Jon Niese in his Cubs debut, after posting a 3.00 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in seven starts (39 innings) since joining Triple-A Iowa. It will end up being just a spot start, as expected, but Straily figures to return when rosters expand in September.
