Davis is out of the lineup Wednesday vs. the Pirates, Matthew Mowery of The Oakland Press reports. Davis will sit out for the first time in eight games, as Ezequiel Carrera enters the lineup to counter Pirates right-hander Vance Worley. The two players will work in a timeshare in center field following the trade of Austin Jackson, but Davis will continue to benefit from a much larger portion of the at-bats.
