Venable is out of the Padres' lineup Tuesday against the Rockies. With lefty Yohan Flande on the hill for Colorado, Venable will turn center field over to Abraham Almonte for the second time in four games. It looks like the two may be deployed in a platoon moving forward, with the lefty-swinging Venable still seeing the lion's share of the starts.
