Fowler (back) will be activated from the DL on Wednesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports. Fowler joined Triple-A Oklahoma City last Thursday to begin a rehab assignment, a little over five weeks after hitting the DL with a right intercostal strain, and he's since played in four games without any sort of setback. The Astros acquired Jake Marisnick from the Marlins at the deadline, and it's not entirely clear how manager Bo Porter plans on divvying up the playing time upon Fowler's return. It's possible Marisnick could be sent down, but it seems more likely that the two will split time in center.
