Werth (shoulder) will be available off the bench Tuesday. Manager Matt Williams elaborated a bit on the extent of Werth's setback prior to Tuesday's game, saying his AC joint got inflamed on a play Sunday but that he expects Werth to avoid the DL. The Nationals are reportedly trying to line up an MRI, and despite Williams saying Werth would be available off the bench, it seems likely they would stay away from him until the results are in.
