GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said Adams (shoulder) could return to the Phillies in September, the team's official site reports. Adams has been long-tossing and was scheduled to throw a bullpen session Sunday. He has been on the disabled list since June 7 with right rotator cuff inflammation.
