Porcello was forced into action Sunday against the Blue Jays, coming into the game in the 17th inning and getting the loss in the 19th inning. He gave up one run on three hits and two walks, and also committed a big throwing error in the game-ending rally in the 19th. Porcello can hardly be blamed for his off game. Not only did he start on Thursday, but he also had a 30-pitch bullpen session Saturday as his regular throw day. While the Tigers aren't divulging their plans, it's highly unlikely that he'll be available for his regular turn in the rotation Tuesday. But the Tigers are especially hamstrung because Anibal Sanchez just went on the DL, and because they are in a stretch of 55 games in 55 days and have a full seven games this upcoming week.
