Plouffe's X-ray came back negative Sunday, leaving him day-to-day, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports. Plouffe was out of the lineup Sunday for the first time since July 25, which was the first indication he was injured. The foot issue likely won't force him on the disabled list however, which is good news for the Twins. He is currently listed as day-to-day, but it's unclear how long he will need to sit before returning to the lineup.
