Arrieta (6-3) was lit up for nine runs on 13 hits over five innings in a loss to the Rockies on Wednesday. Arrieta took a 4-3 lead into the sixth inning, but failed to record an out after seven consecutive hits, including a Carlos Gonzalez two-run shot. It broke a streak of 10 quality starts for the right-hander, who saw his ERA jump from 2.11 to 2.80. Arrieta will take the hill Monday at home versus the Brewers.
