Max Scherzer improved to 13-3, holding the White Sox to one run over seven innings as the Tigers enjoyed an easy 7-2 win on Wednesday. Scherzer appears to have found some consistency. Now in his last seven starts, the impending free agent has a 2.08 ERA over 47 2/3 innings. On Wednesday, he limited the White Sox to five hits and a walk while striking out six. As a result, he lowered his overall ERA to 3.27. He has a 1.17 WHIP and a 167/41 K/BB ratio to go along with it. Scherzer will toe the rubber at Yankee Stadium on Monday.
