Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald is hearing that there's "zero chance" the Marlins trade for John Lackey. FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reported earlier Wednesday that the Fish were talking to the Red Sox about a deal involving the veteran righty, but apparently those negotiations didn't get very far. Morosi's colleague, Ken Rosenthal has said there's a "very good chance" Lackey is dealt somewhere. It just apparently won't be to Miami.
