MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports that the Orioles are close to acquiring Jon Lester from the Red Sox. The Boston Globe's Pete Abraham is also hearing the deal is close and says the Red Sox will receive a pitcher in return. He mentions Miguel Gonzalez, but he would figure to be a secondary part of the deal. It appears that Lester will get to stay in the AL East and has said in the past that he would still consider re-signing with the Red Sox.
