Diamondbacks signed LHP Clayton Richard to a minor league contract. He'll make a start for the Arizona League Diamondbacks this weekend. Richard underwent AC joint surgery last summer and thoracic outlet surgery over the offseason but is finally ready for game action again after a long rehab. He could possibly come up with the D'Backs in September if he looks good in the minors.
