Jered Weaver was fortunate to go home with a no-decision, as he allowed six runs over five innings, but the Angels fell in 12 innings to the Orioles by a 7-6 margin. Weaver had been pitching much better lately, allowing exactly two runs in each of his last three outings, but the Orioles were squaring him up well on Tuesday. The right-hander surrendered two home runs: a solo shot to Adam Jones, and a three-run shot to Nick Markakis. Overall, he yielded seven hits and walked four while striking out four. Now with a 3.62 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP, and a 114/42 K/BB ratio, Weaver will look to get back on track when he takes on the Rays in a road start on Sunday.
