Yordano Ventura took a no-decision Friday after yielding four runs (three earned) over 6 1/3 innings against the Indians. After being knocked around for six runs over 4 1/3 innings last time out, Ventura showed some signs of progress in this one, allowing six hits against one walk and seven strikeouts. An error by Mike Moustakas in the seventh inning eventually allowed the tying run to score. The seven strikeouts from Ventura was his most since May 15. That's nice to see after he didn't strike out one batter in his last outing. He'll bring a 3.63 ERA into a start against the Twins next week.
