Manny Machado (back) is not in the Orioles' lineup on Wednesday. Machado received an anti-inflammatory injection for his back after Tuesday's game, so it's no surprise that he's getting the day off Wednesday. He's still considered day-to-day for now, but if misses too many more games it might make sense for the Orioles to shut him down for a few weeks. Ryan Flaherty started at third base in his absence.
