Miguel Gonzalez allowed just three hits and two runs in seven and two-thirds innings against the Angels on Tuesday. While Gonzalez did walk four, he was able to keep the Angels off the board until the eighth inning, when Mike Trout launched a two-run homer. Gonzalez has made a habit of going deep into games as of late. He'd gone eight innings in each of his last two starts. This effort dropped his ERA to 3.91. If he's able to continue this recent trend, he's somebody to keep an eye on in deep AL-only leagues. Next time out he'll face the Mariners.
