John Lackey yielded two runs over six innings in Friday's 8-3 win over the Astros. Lackey was shaky, allowing four hits and five walks while throwing just 67 out of 117 pitches for strikes. Still, he managed to avoid any major damage. His five walks were a season-high and his most since returning from Tommy John surgery. He struck out three batters in the victory and will finish off the first half at 10-6 with a 3.79 ERA and 109/28 K/BB ratio in 123 1/3 innings over 19 starts.
