Doug Fister improved his record to 8-2 after limiting the Orioles to two runs over seven innings on Wednesday. Fister put together his fourth consecutive quality start, holding the Orioles to seven hits -- including Manny Machado's solo home run -- and two walks while striking out three. Fister has turned out to be exactly what the Nationals hoped for when they traded for him, as he now carries a 2.90 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and a 45/8 K/BB ratio. When the Nationals return from the All-Star break, Fister will take the hill against the Brewers at home.
