Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said Tuesday that the topic of Victor Martinez (side) going on the disabled list has "been broached but it's not really been considered." The Tigers are trying to wait it out until the All-Star break, though they haven't ruled out V-Mart returning before then. If they make a retroactive DL move, Martinez wouldn't be eligible to return until the fourth game of the second half. J.D. Martinez is in the DH spot Tuesday.
